Rumors of a Tom Waits Summer '08 tour have more or less been confirmed, although there are no dates yet.

No locations yet, either, although Tom said last December that they "...return like the salmon to perform in important towns like Nimrod, Minn.; Square Butt, Mont.; Peculiar, Mo.; or Diagonal, Iowa. We just may be coming to a theatre near you."

Dad told me today that there is a new Tom Waits album coming out on March 18th. Sadly, a little research shows that this isn't exactly the case.

The album in question is Tom Waits' Jukebox: Songs that Inspired the Man - which has actually been out in the UK for some time now. Sort of a strange concept for an album, if you ask me, but I bet it ( Read more... )
